Review This is a beloved classic among children’s literature. This edition is especially nice, due to its modern illustrations that reflect the style of the story well. The font size is large enough that it might make a good opportunity for parents and children to read together. The characters themselves range from mild-mannered to ridiculous, and children may find a bit of themselves reflected in their adventures (Flock, 2017). Themes Friendship, Adventure, Animals Application Reading one chapter at a time, this could be a great bedtime story series for parents to read to their kids before bed. Read-alikes Steig, W. (1976).
